[Luckily, or possibly unluckily, for Dagny, Isaac is not very easy to embarrass. Imogene does seem to be entertained by it, but he's largely unbothered, shrugging.] It's fine, that's what I've got you for.
[He leans in to press a quick kiss against Dagny's mouth, and then pulls away in surprise a few seconds later when the cap from Imogene's bottle hits him in the shoulder. She looks away innocently, doing a terrible job of biting back her grin, and he shakes his head and asks dryly:] Maybe this was a bad idea. Is it too late to send her back?
No, not yet. She just got here. [Dagny laughs, happy not to be the target of Imogene's wrath as well as entertained by the whole sequence of events and then takes a full step back from Isaac.]
Listen, you stay there, and I'll stay over here. We can behave for an evening. [Just an evening, even though she's going to be staying for much longer. He can't promise her the whole vacation though, only a few hours.]
"Are you sure?" [Asked with obviously put-on innocence. So far they haven't exactly proven that. Isaac bends down, comes back up with the bottle cap to toss back at her, Imogene's act dissolving into giggles when it bounces off her arm.]
Oh my god. [Dagny fakes horror for only a moment before he laughs as well, backing up further from Isaac.] One minute away from me and he becomes a madman. I’ll do my best to stay back, but who knows what might happen. [Even though Dagny is trying to be serious, he’s failing pretty horribly, his smile too wide as speaks, chuckling slightly as soon as he’s done.]
You shush, or I'll start finding things to throw at you too. [It's kind of impossible to sound genuinely annoyed, which completely undercuts the threat. Isaac's just too pleased to have both of them there. Even if they are ganging up on him.]
Geez, I guess the honeymoon phase ended quick. [An amused response, definitely not genuinely put off by his teasing. He turns to Imogene, addressing the next question to her.] What phase is this now?
"I think that's a question for your eventual couple's counselor. I deal with bodies, not relationships." [She holds up her hands like she's giving up. Isaac just rolls his eyes, moving closer to steal the bottle out of her hand and finish it off.]
Oooh, that would be fun. Do you think they’d even take us on as clients or just assume we are too insane to be helped? [Their own personal stories aside, he doesn’t imagine they see many cases of people getting married as strangers and it actually working out. He smiles as he watches the siblings interact, amused by their antics even if he doesn’t quite understand the dynamic himself. As long as it works for them, then he’s happy.]
Hey, they don't have to know everything. Ease them into it.
[Imogene grins, and then softens a little when Isaac wraps an arm around her shoulders from behind, chin resting against the top of her head. It's an idle bit of siblingly affection, but it's clearly appreciated.] "I think you're in luck anyway, most of them are too curious to try the insane ones."
